As this was our first time in New York, we wanted to stay in Manhattan so that our travel times would be kept short. We mostly explored Lower Manhattan, so we walked a lot! The metro station was also 3 minutes by foot, so that we also used it quite a lot. The room was a good size for Manhattan, we were actually expecting them to be smaller. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Our room was cleaned every day of our stay. Also, it was really hot as we were in New York, so the air condition unit was a life saver. Breakfast wasn't that good, but there were some options and a great way to start the day while also saving some money for food. We loved the terrace and used it every night. We liked ending our days drinking some wine or beer and sometimes with takeout. We didn't have a problem with the metro running right next to the hotel, I never heard it. Also the street noise is barely noticeable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would also stay here again.

The hotel offers a 0-24 reception which is really nice and breakfast. Our room was clean, had air conditioner and facilities for shower / hair washing plus towels and we could ask for cleaning every day. It’s located pretty well, two metros are nearby (what we explored) and several bus routes. For us - the neighborhood - wasn’t that rough, the hotel is at the corner of Chinatown kinda. However I would like to mention that we spent there 5 nights and our room was tiny without a wardrobe so it was a bit harder to fit. The breakfast is okay, just a small one: coffee, juice, muffin and waffle, bagel and bread on which you can spread butter and cream cheese. There weren’t vegetables, cheese, ham etc. The staff is nice in general, when we asked for something then they tried to help, however not everyone liked to smile or greet us. So in general our impression is great as value for money.

Pros: Very clean! Bathroom was spotless and the room was not carpet which made it feel even cleaner. The furniture and vibe in the room felt modern/new. Comfy, large bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Large TV with good channels. Location was good - close walk to the subway and had some good eats nearby ish (check out Joe's Steam Rice Roll and Mother's Ruin which are both walkable from the hotel). There are definitely hotels that are in better locations but for the price this was good. Also, it has a pretty nice view from the room (see pic). Overall: For the price, I would recommend this hotel, especially if you won't be spending too much time in the room. For people who want luxury or plan to be in the hotel room a lot, it's probably not the best choice for you as it is a bit cramped.

Nice, simple, clean. Enough space for me and a friend. Comfy enough to lounge at night, watch tv and chat before bed. The roof top is a nice space! No one else was there but there's chairs and lights on top. Love that the subway station is so close by and Chinatown Manhattan and the bridge is a close walk. The train station is right above but didn't disturb our sleep on the 2nd floor. Convenient and nice, not as expensive place to stay in NYC. Would book again.

We really loved the rooftop terrace and the location was perfect for exploring Manhattan and Brooklyn. The service was very good and the room was kept clean. The attached photos were taken from the Roof Terrace at night, and you can see how close the Manhattan Bridge is.
